Gregory Rousseau participates in American football for the National Football League’s Buffalo Bills. He was conceived on April 5, 2000 in Coconut Creek, Florida. He took part in football when a student at Champagnat Catholic School in Hialeah, Florida, playing as a defensive end, safety, and wide receiver.

He enrolled at the University of Miami following his high school graduation in order to play NCAA football for the Miami Hurricanes. The Buffalo Bills selected him in the opening round of the 2021 NFL Draft. On June 4, 2021, he agreed to a four-year, $11.37 million rookie contract. Rousseau received nominations for NFL Rookie of the Week accolades for his five tackles, two sacks, and two tackles made behind the line of scrimmage in Week 2 of the 2021 season. On October 10, 2021, during the fifth-week victory over Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs, he had his first career interception, which earned him the AFC Defensive Player of the Week award.
