Casey Hayward Jr. is an American football cornerback who currently plays for the Atlanta Falcons of the National Football League.



He was born on September 9, 1989. (NFL). He attended Vanderbilt University for his college football career. After playing with the San Diego/Los Angeles Chargers for a combined total of five seasons prior to being

selected by the Green Bay Packers in the second round of the 2012 NFL Draft, Hayward was taken by the Packers.



Hayward attended Perry High School in Georgia where he participated in three different sports. As a senior, he led his team to the state quarterfinals by passing for 1,300 yards and 18 touchdowns and rushing for

another 1,284 yards and another 18 touchdowns. In total, he had a combined total of 30 touchdowns and led his team to the state quarterfinals.

In addition to that, he had four interceptions, of which he returned three for touchdowns. Hayward was under investigation by a number of universities, including Georgia Tech, Louisville, Middle Tennessee State,

North Carolina and Southern Miss. Hayward got his start in youth football when he was just five years old. His parents, Casey and Tish Hayward brought him up in Perry, Georgia, where they currently reside.

Both his mother Tish and his younger brother Jecavesia Hayward passed away, from breast cancer in July 2016, and November 27, 2017, respectively.

Hayward has established his own charitable organization, known as the Hayward Hands Foundation, and is active in a number of other charitable activities.

Salary

Hayward’s total compensation in 2022 will consist of a base salary of $2,000,000, a signing bonus of $4,000,000, a cap hit of $4,000,000, and a dead cap value of $6,000,000. He will also carry a cap hit of $4,000,000.
