Thomas Hyunsu Edman was born on May 9, 1995, he is an American professional baseball second baseman for the Major League Baseball St. Louis Cardinals (MLB).

Edman, who was born and raised in San Diego, spent three seasons of collegiate baseball at Stanford University before being taken by the Cardinals in the sixth round of the 2016 Major League Baseball draft.

He was a member of their minor league system until making his MLB debut in 2019 and soon became a member of their starting lineup, playing a variety of infield and outfield positions. In 2021, he received a Gold Glove Award.

Edman signed with the Cardinals and was sent to the State College Spikes, where he played the whole season, batting.286 with four home runs, 33 RBIs, and 19 stolen bases in 22 tries in 66 games.
