Victor González Parents: Meet Guillermo González

Victor González was born Victor Aaron González. He is of Mexican descent and plays professional baseball as a pitcher for the Los Angeles Dodgers baseball team. Victor grew up in Mexico where he was born on November 16, 1995, in the town of Tuxpan in Mexico. 

The Los Angeles Dodgers signed him as an international free agent in July 2012. He then started his professional career after he was assigned to play with the Arizona League Dodgers in 2013. He spent the 2014 minor league season with the Ogden Raptors.

During the 2015 season, he spent the season playing for the AZL Dodgers, Ogden, and the Great Lakes Loons. He returned to play for the Great Lakes in 2016. He didn’t play during the 2017 season as he had an injury. His 2018 season was spent between Ogden and Great Lakes.

He was assigned to play with the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes, Tulsa Drillers, and Oklahoma City Dodgers in 2019. Before the season ended, the Dodgers added him to their 40-man roster. He made his MLB debut on July 31 2020 against the Arizona Diamondbacks.
