DeShawn Williams entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the Cincinnati Bengals in 2015. The defensive end is currently playing for the Denver Broncos and this is his third time playing for the team.
Williams has also played for different NFL teams including Miami Dolphins (2018), Indianapolis Colts (2018) and Calgary Stampeders (2020)
Williams started his playing career at Daniel High School in Central, S.C. As a senior, he finished with 106 tackles, seven sacks, three pass deflections, and one interception to his name.
Williams attended Clemson University and played four seasons of college football for the Clemson Tigers.
During his time at Clemson University, Williams participated in 53 games overall games and started 17, tallying 161 tackles, five sacks, four passes defensed, one fumble recovery, and two blocked kicks.
He finished his senior year with 54 tackles and three sacks. As a junior, he had 37 tackles and one fumble recovery, while as a sophomore, he had 50 tackles, two sacks, one pass defensed, and one blocked punt. He also had one blocked kick as a freshman.
