Hunter Harvey is a professional baseball player. He plays as a pitcher for the Washington Nationals baseball team. Hunter was born and raised in North Carolina on December 9, 1994. He had his amateur baseball career at Bandys High School in Catawba North Carolina.
He started professional baseball in 2013 when he was drafted by the Baltimore Orioles in the first round of the 2013 MLB draft. He played for the Orioles from 2013 to 2021. Whiles with the Orioles, he was added to their 40-man roster and he also made his MLB debut whiles with them on August 17, 2019.
Hunter was claimed off waivers in November 2021 by the San Francisco Giants baseball team and in March 2022, the Washington Nationals claimed him off waivers.

Hunter Harvey was born to parents Bryan Harvey and Lisa Harvey. His father Bryan Harvey happens to be a former baseball player who played for the California Angels of the American League and the Florida Marlins of the National League.
Bryan was also a pitcher and played in the MLB from 1987 to 1995. He had his amateur baseball career at Bandys High School just like his son, Hunter and then played college baseball at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte (UNC-Charlotte).
