Jake Woodford, an American baseball plays as a professional pitcher for the St. Louis Cardinals of Major League Baseball short-termed as MLB.

His baseball career gained some sort of relevance after he was drafted by the Cardinals in with the 39th overall pick in the 2015 Major League Baseball draft and signed, forgoing his commitment to Florida.

Following his MLB draft, Jake has been playing for the Cardinals organization in the minor leagues. Currently, he was announced to be included in the 40 man roster of the Cardinals.

Before his 40-man roster selection, he sent the 2018 season with the Spring Cardinals and exhibited a superb performance to earn Texas League All-Star player. It was at that time he got promoted to the Memphis Redbirds.
