Timothy James Zeuch

Timothy James Zeuch ( born August 1, 1995) is a Major League Baseball pitcher for the St. Louis Cardinals.

He played collegiate baseball for the Pittsburgh Panthers before being taken in the first round of the 2016 Major League Baseball draft by the Toronto Blue Jays, where he made his MLB debut in 2019.

On September 3, 2019, the Blue Jays picked Zeuch’s contract and promoted him to the major leagues.

In the second inning of the Blue Jays’ game against the Atlanta Braves, he made his debut in relief. Tyler Flowers was the first hitter he faced, and he struck out Mike Foltynewicz for his first career strikeout later that inning. Zeuch went four innings, allowing two runs on three hits and two walks while striking out four batters.

On September 15, Zeuch recorded his first big league win, pitching 51/3 innings in relief against the New York Yankees, striking out five, and surrendering two earned runs.

Zeuch was dealt to the St. Louis Cardinals for monetary considerations on July 25, 2021. He pitched for the Cardinals’ AAA club in Memphis for the rest of the season.
