In 2017, Springer was named to the Major League Baseball All-Star team, won the Silver Slugger Award, and helped the United States win the World Series.

He was also voted the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the 2017 World Series after hitting a record-tying five home runs (Reggie Jackson and Chase Utley had accomplished the feat in 1977 and 2009, respectively) to help the Houston Astros defeat the Los Angeles Dodgers in a seven-game series.

In both 2018 and 2019, he was named to the All-Star team once more.
