Running back Zonovan Knight from NC State has agreed to a free agent deal with the New York Jets following the 2022 NFL Draft.
Knight led the Wolfpack in rushing with more than 750 yards in each of his three seasons in Raleigh while sharing time in the backfield with Ricky Person Jr. and Jordan Houston during the course of his career.
In his career, Knight had 49 receptions for 337 yards and 18 touchdowns on 419 attempts for 2,286 yards (5.46 yards per attempt).
Knight was one of the top kickoff returners in the country in addition to being a running back for the Pack. Knight returned 30 kickoffs for 923 yards, or an average of 30.8 yards, and three touchdowns in his final two seasons at State.
Knight received All-American recognition from CBS Sports for his efforts during the 2021 season. Knight decided against playing for the Pack in his final season of eligibility because of his contribution to special teams.
