Lars Nootbaar Parents: Meet Charlie Nootbaar and Kumi Enokida Nootbaar

Lars Nootbaar, real name Lars Taylor-Tatsuji Nootbaar happens to be one of the professional baseball outfielders playing with the St. Louis Cardinals baseball team. Lars has a height of 1.91 m and a weight of 98 kg.



Lars played high school baseball at El Segundo High School where he was also a student. He then played college baseball t the University of Southern California (USC). Before he graduated from college, he played collegiate summer baseball for the Orleans Firebirds of the Cape Cod Baseball League.

After his college degree, the St Louis Cardinals baseball team drafted him in the 8th round of the 2018 MLB draft. He signed with the Cardinals and began his professional career that year by playing with the State College Spikes of the Class A Short Season New York–Penn League.

Lars spent the 2019 minor league season with the Class A Peoria Chiefs of the Midwest League after which the Cardinals promoted him to the Class A-Advanced Palm Beach Cardinals of the Florida State League. He was promoted again that same year to play for the Class AA Texas League.

The 2020 minor league got cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Lars made his MLB debut in 2021 for the Cardinals after they added him to their 40-man roster.
