David Robertson is an American baseball professional from Birmingham, Alabama in the United States. David plays for the Chicago Cubs of Major League Baseball. He was previously known to play for the New York Yankees of Major League Baseball. David Robertson was born on April 9, 1985, in Birmingham, Alabama in the United States.
Robertson was known to have played college baseball for the Alabama Crimson Tide. Roberson played and featured for several teams including; New York Yankees, Chicago White Sox, Philadelphia Phillies, and the Tampa Bay Rays.
He gained his draft pick by the Yankees in the 17th round of the 2006 MLB draft and had his first appearance with them in the year 2008. He was known to be a member of the Yankees team that won the 2009 World Series at the time. With the White Sox, he joined them as a free agent after the 2014 season and was traded back to the Yankees in the year July 2017. He as well signed with the Phillies as a free agent.
