Matthew Festa is an American professional baseball pitcher who currently plays for the Seattle Mariners of Major League Baseball. On March 11, 1993, he was born in the United States (MLB).

Festa had his secondary education in Staten Island, New York, at St. Joseph’s by the Sea High School. After spending one year playing college baseball for the Dominican Chargers at Dominican College,

he transferred to East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania, where he spent the next three years playing college baseball for the East Stroudsburg Warriors.

He first attended Dominican College, where he played college baseball for the Dominican Chargers. During the 2016 Major League Baseball Draft, the Seattle Mariners chose him in the seventh round, giving them the 207th overall pick.

Festa played for the Low-A Northwest League’s Everett AquaSox and the High-A California League’s Modesto Nuts in 2016. With 99 strikeouts in 69+23 innings of work,

he had a 3.23 ERA and was 4-2 in 2017. This year, he was drafted by the Seattle Mariners from the Arkansas Travelers of the Double-A Texas League.

On many occasions this season, he was sent down to Triple-A and only made twenty appearances for Seattle. His season was cut short in 2020 when he underwent Tommy John surgery.
