After Charlie Morton’s damaged fibula, Davidson was added to the Braves’ roster for the World Series against the Houston Astros on October 27, 2021. He was named the starter for Game 5 on October 31, 2021.

Following the 2019 season, Tucker Davidson was added to the Braves 40-man roster. Before the COVID-19 epidemic halted the Minor League Baseball season in 2020, Davidson was set to start the season in Gwinnett.



Instead, he was named to the Atlanta Braves’ 60-player pool for the shorter 2020 MLB season. On September 25, 2020, Davidson was promoted to the big leagues for the first time from the team’s alternate location.

The next day, Davidson played the Boston Red Sox and lost, allowing two earned runs and seven total runs in 1+23 innings thrown in his sole game of the season.

Davidson was 0–0 with a 3.60 ERA in 20 innings for the Braves in four starts in 2021.

He was 2–2 with a 1.17 ERA in four starts for Gwinnett, striking out 28 hitters while allowing only 11 hits and five walks in 23 innings. With left forearm irritation, Tucker Davidson was put on the 60-day injured list on June 24, 2021.
