Kyle was born on October 2, 1995, to Roger Wright and Belinda Wright in Huntsville, Alabama in the USA. Kyle was a baseball player back in high school. He was at Buckhorn High School in Alabama. After high school, he continued at Vanderbilt University where he played college baseball for the baseball team.
In 2017, Kyle was drafted by the Atlanta Braves during the 2017 MLB draft. He received a signing bonus of $7 million for agreeing to play for the Braves. He began his professional career that very year with the GCL Braves. He was later promoted in August that season to play with the Florida Fire Frogs.

In September 2018, Kyle made his MLB debut for the Braves after they promoted him to the major leagues. He became the first player from the 2017 draft class to make it to the majors.
