The 2019 season saw him hit 15 home runs and 72 RBIs, and he stole 19 bases while tying the big league lead in stolen bases with 10 in the same year.

He had the worst NL hitters’ pull percentage (30.4 percent ). In 2019, he was the poorest shortstop in the National League in terms of Defensive Runs Saved (DRS).

Although Rosario ranked first in the league in singles, he was beaten in doubles. At Yankee Stadium on August 28, 2020, Rosario will blast a walk-off home run to defeat the New York Yankees.

Because the Mets were making up for a previously canceled game, they were designated as the home team. The last time a visiting player hit a walk-off home run against the Cleveland Spiders in 1899 was Ed McKean for the St. Louis Perfectos.

This season, Rosario slugged four home runs and racked up 15 RBIs in 46 games.

Where Did Amed Rosario Go?

The Cleveland Indians acquired Francisco Lindor and Carlos Carrasco from the New York Mets in exchange for Amed Rosario, Andrés Giménez, Josh Wolf, and Isaiah Greene.

While coach Kyle Hudson helped transfer Rosario to an outfield role in March 2021, it was implied that Giménez would take over as Indians’ primary starter at shortstop.
