Tommy Kahnle Height: How Tall Is Tommy Kahnle?

Kahnle attended Shaker High School in Latham, New York, and Lynn University in Boca Raton, Florida, for high school and college baseball.



In 2009, he played collegiate summer baseball with the Cape Cod Baseball League’s Orleans Firebirds, and he returned to the league in 2010, spending his time between the Bourne Braves and the Brewster Whitecaps.

Kahnle was drafted in the fifth round of the 2010 Major League Baseball draft by the New York Yankees. He made his professional debut in 2010 with the Staten Island Yankees.



Over 16 innings thrown, he had a 0.56 earned run average and 25 strikeouts in 11 games. In 2011, he pitched for the Charleston RiverDogs, with a 4.22 ERA and 112 strikeouts in 81 innings.

In 2019, Kahnle was named the American League reliever of the month for the month of July 2019. He had a 0.77 ERA in 12 games in July, striking out 17 hitters and not allowing a home run. He only gave up one run on five hits while walking two hitters.

Kahnle got an MRI on July 31, 2020, which indicated a damaged ulnar collateral ligament of the elbow. The next week, he underwent Tommy John surgery, therefore ending his 2020 season. Kahnle was released from the 40-man roster on October 31, 2020, and elected free agency.
