Jorge López is a Puerto Rican professional baseball player who pitches for the Baltimore Orioles baseball team. The 29-year-old player started his career after he was drafted out of the military academy in 2011 by the Milwaukee Brewers baseball team.

After he was drafted in 2011, he signed with the Milwaukee Brewers. He began playing in several minor leagues till he was promoted to the major leagues in 2018.

First, he spent his 2012 season playing for both the Dominican Summer League Brewers and Gulf Coast Brewers. During the 2013 season, he was with the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers. For the 2014 baseball season, he played as a pitcher for the Brevard County Manatees and in July that same year, he was selected to appear in the All-Star Futures Game.
