Makai Polk is a wide receiver for the Baltimore Ravens. Before going to El Cerrito High School for his senior year, Makai attended Susan Miller Dorsey High School for his junior year.
He played football for the University of California’s California Golden Bears from 2019 to 2020. Near the end of his first season, he had 19 receptions for 295 yards and two scores. In his four games, he caught 17 passes for 183 yards and one touchdown.
He later transferred from the University of California and enrolled at Mississippi State University after the 2020 season. He played for the Mississippi State Bulldogs. During his rookie season, he was given the starting nod, and the Southeastern Conference was led by his 105 receptions for 1,048 yards and nine touchdowns.
