Tyler Joseph Beede, simply called Tyler Beede is an American born baseball player who plays as a pitcher for the San Francisco Giants baseball team of the Major League Baseball(MLB). He was born and raised in Worcester, Massachusetts in the United States of America.
Tyler began his non-professional career at Auburn High School, in Massachusetts where he helped the team win the Division 2 state title but he later got a transfer to Lawrence Academy at Groton in Groton, Massachusetts where he continued to ay baseball.
When Tyler completed high school, the Toronto Blue Jays selected him in the first round of the 2011 MLB draft but he did not sign with them and chose to earn a degree and also play college baseball for the Vanderbilt Commodores of the Vanderbilt University.
After his college, the San Francisco Giants selected him in the first round of the 2014 MLB draft. He agreed and signed with the Giants for a $2,613,200 signing bonus. He began his professional career from there as he was assigned to play in several minor league games.
In April 2018, the Giants promoted Beede to the major leagues and he made his major league debut that day for the Giants.
