How Old Is Mike Yastrzemski?

Mike Yastrzemski is 31 years old. He was born on August 23, 1990

Michael Andrew Yastrzemski is a Major League Baseball right fielder for the San Francisco Giants. Yastrzemski was a member of the Vanderbilt Commodores during his collegiate baseball career.

He was drafted in the 14th round of the 2013 MLB draft by the Baltimore Orioles.

He is the grandson of Hall of Famer and Triple Crown champion Carl Yastrzemski and made his MLB debut with the Giants in 2019.

In Danvers, Massachusetts, Yastrzemski went to St. John’s Preparatory School. In his senior year, he was selected team captain for the baseball team at his high school.

On a baseball scholarship, he has committed to attend Vanderbilt University. Yastrzemski, who is expected to be drafted in the first round of the 2009 Major League Baseball (MLB) draft, has stated that unless he is selected in the first round, he will attend college.

In the 36th round (1,098th overall) of the draft, the Boston Red Sox picked him. Rather than signing with the Red Sox, Yastrzemski enrolled at Vanderbilt University to play baseball for the Commodores.

In the midst of his freshman year, Yastrzemski became a starter for the Commodores. He played collegiate summer baseball with the Cape Cod Baseball League’s Cotuit Kettleers in 2010 and 2011.
