After the delivery of their stillborn daughter Mia on Sunday, New England Patriots defender Devin McCourty and his wife, Dr. Michelle McCourty, made the heartbreaking announcement on Saturday that they had lost their daughter.
Since they became a couple, the pair has been blessed with three children. In the year 2017, they welcomed their daughter Londyn, and the following year, they welcomed their son Brayden. The couple has not been shy about discussing the tragic passing of their daughter, Mia, whose heart stopped beating when she had already been pregnant for eight months.
Devin McCourty and Michelle Powell have been married since 2016. In a post she wrote on the occasion of their five-year wedding anniversary, Michelle expressed her appreciation and love for her husband in a post. She wrote, “Let me just say how incredibly grateful and blessed I am to be holding your hand 5 years later and journeying through life’s ups and downs with you, my love.”
Since the Patriots selected him in the first round of the NFL draft in 2010, Devin has devoted his whole 10-year career to playing for the Patriots. He is a two-time selection to the Pro Bowl and a three-time champion of the Super Bowl.
Meet Londyn and Brayden
Londyn is the first child and the only daughter of the McCourty. She was born in 2017 making her 5 years old in 2022. Brayden who is the second child and the only son was born in 2018 making him 4 years old in 2022. Aside from their parent’s constant posts of them on their social media pages, there is little information about them.
