Orlando Arcia Parents: Meet Oswaldo Arcia and Lilibeth

Orlando Arcia

Orlando Arcia is a Venezuelan professional baseball shortstop for the Atlanta Braves of Major League Baseball (MLB). He made his major league debut in 2016 with the Milwaukee Brewers.

Orlando played for the Brewers for 10 seasons spanning from 2010 to 2020. He first signed Arcia as an international free agent in October 2010 and made his professional debut the following year with the Dominican Summer League Brewers.

Due to a broken leg injury, he faced during spring training, he missed the 2012 season but returned in 2013 to play for the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers of the Class A Midwest League and played for the Brevard County Manatees of the Class A-Advanced Florida State League 2014.

Still playing in minor leagues, Orlando played for the Biloxi Shuckers of the Class AA Southern League in the 2015 season.

Arcia had a stint with the 2015 All-Star Futures Game and hit .307/.347/.453 with eight home runs. Eventually, his spectacular performance earned the Brewers Minor League Player of the Year for 2015.

Of course, he was added to the Milwaukee Brewers 40-man’s active roster after the 2015 season.

Orlando Arcia’s parents are Oswaldo Arcia (father) and Lilibeth Arcia (mother). Born on August 4, 1994, in Anaco, Anzoátegui, he was originally was named Orlando Jesus Arcia by his parents.
