Jordan McKinley Hicks, professionally called Jordan Hicks is a professional baseball pitcher currently with the St. Louis Cardinals baseball team of Major League Baseball. Jordan earns $937,500 as an annual salary from the Cardinals.

Jordan was born September 6, 1996, in Houston, Texas in the United States of America to parents Scott Hicks and Kelly Justice. He was drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals in the third round of the 2015 MLB draft. He signed with the Cardinals and received $600,000 as a signing bonus.

Jordan began his professional career the following year playing with the Johnson City Cardinals of the Rookie Appalachian League. He was promoted that same season to play with the State College Spikes of the Class A Short Season New York–Penn League.

During the 2017 minor league season, he was promoted to the Palm Beach Cardinals of the Class A-Advanced Florida State League. The Cardinals assigned him to play with the Surprise Saguaros of the Arizona Fall League (AFL) where he was selected for the Fall Stars Game.

Jordan made his MLB debut for the Cardinals on March 29, 2018. He decided not to play during the 2020 season due to the COVID-19 pandemic and also because he has Type 1 diabetes. He signed a one-year contract of $937,500 with the Cardinals in March 2022 to avoid salary arbitration.
