What Happened To Joe Ross?

Joe Ross is an American pitcher for the Washington nationals in the major league baseball. Ross who is currently 29 years was diagnosed with a partial tear of the UCL in his right elbow in August 2017.

His season ended prematurely as he was made to undergo a Tommy John surgery which was a big issue in 2017.

Unfortunately the right-hander Joe, Ross was placed on a 60-day again on March 16 this year, after he had undergone another surgery earlier that week. He had a bone spur removed from his right throwing elbow.

Whilst Ross was pitching earlier today, he was removed after three innings because he said he felt some pains in his elbow again.” Joe had to be pulled out of the game. Felt tightness in his right elbow”.

Martinez explained. It is reported that after the three innings, Ross couldn’t continue to the fourth round so he is currently getting an MRI but the results are not yet out.

However, Stephen Strasburg who was also injured and went into rehab with Ross was able to complete the game with 60 pitches and although he had felt sore, Martinex explained that Strasburg will be ready to play again after a 5-day rest.

Ross is now waiting for the results of his MRI before he determines what step he will take as he has had a Tommy John surgery in 2017.
