American Major League Baseball pitcher for the Los Angeles Dodgers, Andre Terrell Jackson was born on 1st May 1996.



Jackson was drafted by the Texas Rangers in the 32nd round of the 2014 Major League Baseball draft out of Cienega High School in Vail, Arizona, but decided to attend college at the University of Utah instead.

Jackson was an outfielder in his rookie year of 2015, hitting.179 in 44 games. In 2016, he batted.299 with twenty RBIs in 34 games while throwing to a 6.41 ERA in 11 relief appearances as a sophomore.



He had Tommy John surgery after the season and missed the 2017 season. Despite this, he was taken as a pitcher in the 12th round of the 2017 Major League Baseball draft by the Los Angeles Dodgers.

After the 2020 season, the Dodgers added Jackson to their 40-man roster. He was assigned to the Tulsa Drillers of the Double-A Central for the start of the 2021 season.

Jackson was chosen to play in the All-Star Futures Game at Coors Field in June. He was promoted to the Oklahoma City Dodgers of the Triple-A West in late July after posting a 3-2 record with a 3.27 ERA in 15 games (13 starts) and 63+13 innings with Tulsa.
