Wilmer Alejandro Flores Garcia (born August 6, 1991) is a Venezuelan professional baseball utility player for the San Francisco Giants of Major League Baseball. He is nicknamed “Catire”.

Flores signed as an international free agent with the New York Mets on his 16th birthday in 2007, and he made his main league debut with them in 2013.

He formerly played for the New York Mets and the Arizona Diamondbacks in Major League Baseball.

Soledy Garcia and Wilmer Flores are his parents. Flores began swinging a bat at the age of six while growing up in Valencia, Venezuela.

After he turned thirteen, an agent was intrigued by his strength and directed him to the neighboring Agua Linda Academy. Flores was given formal tuition for the first time there.
