Travis d’Arnaud Parents: Meet Lance d’Arnaud And Marita d’Arnaud

Travis d’Arnaud is a professional baseball player with the Atlanta Braves baseball team. He plays as a catcher for the Braves and earns a salary of $8 million annually from the Braves. Travis played baseball in high school at Lakewood High School.



In 2007, after high school, he had wanted to go play college baseball for the Pepperdine Waves of Pepperdine University but after he was drafted by the Philadelphia Phillies in the 2007 MLB draft, he decided to sign with them instead. He was given a signing bonus of $832,500 and he began his professional career with the Philadelphia Phillies’ Rookie League that same season.

During the 2008 season, he was assigned to the Phillies’ Class-A Short Season, an affiliate to the Williamsport Crosscutters of the New York–Penn League and was later promoted the play for the Class-A Lakewood Blue Claws. The Phillies traded him to the Toronto Blue Jays in 2010.



In 2012, the Blue Jays traded Travis to the New York Mets where he played for and made his MLB debut in 2013. In May 2019, Travis signed a one-year contract with the Los Angeles Dodgers. In November of that same year, the Atlanta Braves signed a two-year contract worth $16 million with him.

Travis was born to parents Marita d’Arnaud and Lance d’Arnaud. His parents happen to be musically inclined.

His mother, Marita is known to teach in an after-school performing-arts centre in Long Beach, whiles his father, Lance plays musical instruments like trumpet, piano, and trombone.
