Eddie Rosario Braves Career
Rosario was acquired by the Atlanta Braves in a deal for Pablo Sandoval on July 30, 2021. On September 19, against the San Francisco Giants, Rosario hit a home run for the cycle.
Rosario saw five pitches in his four at-bats, the fewest since at least the 1990 season when he saw six pitches in a cycle.
In 2021, he batted for both teams. 14.435 batting average with 259 home runs and 3305 hits in 435 at-bats; 62 runs batted in.
Game 2 of the National League Championship Series between the Atlanta Braves and the Los Angeles Dodgers was decided by a walk-off single by Rosario on October 17.
The 2021 Braves became the fourth team in MLB history to win the first two games of a postseason series with walk-off victories, thanks to Rosario’s walk-off single, which matched the feat of teammate Austin Riley in Game 1.
After Steve Garvey, Rosario is the only playoff player to have two home runs, three RBI, and four runs batted in in the same game.
During the playoffs, Rosario became only the sixth major league player to record two four-hit games, and only the second to have both four-hit games come in the same series.
Rosario and Adam Duvall became the third Braves teammates to blast back-to-back home runs in a postseason game with their first-inning home shots.
After a three-run home run by Rosario in Game 6, the Braves won 4–2 to claim their first National League crown since 1999.  NLCS MVP honors were bestowed to Rosario because of his performance in the playoffs
Rosario signed a two-year, $18 million contract with a club option for the 2024 season with the Braves on March 16, 2022.
