What Happened Anibal Sanchez?

Anibal Alejandro Sanchez Jr., better known by his full name, is a well-known Venezuelan baseball pitcher who was born on February 27, 1984, in Maracay, Venezuela. At the time, Anibal is a baseball player for the Major League Baseball’s Washington Nationals. He was thought to have joined the Florida/Miami Marlins for his Major League debut in 2006. He is also recognized as having played for the Atlanta Braves and the Detroit Tigers.

Anibal began his professional career with the Boston Red Sox. He was signed by the Boston Red Sox as an international free agent in the year 2001. His first appearance team and League was in the Venezuelan Summer League for a period of two seasons before he suffered an elbow injury at the time.

Anibal was then traded to the Florida Marlins, particularly at the end of the 2005 season along with one Hanley Ramirez and two others. In his beginning stints, he was recognized by Baseball America as third in the Marlins system after one Jeremy Hermida and Ramirez as well as 40th overall in the major leagues at the start of the 2006 season.
