He was a member of the Vermont Lake Monsters of the New York-Penn League that year, batting.200 in 42 games.

With the Stockton Ports of the California League, in 2014, he batted .288 with 32 doubles and 13 home runs in 94 games, which was significantly better than his sophomore campaign in 2013.

The Midland RockHounds selected him as their Texas League Player of the Year in 2015. For the season he had a slash line of .317/.361/.486 with 32 doubles and 15 home runs in just 117 games.
