Joshua-Douglas James Naylor is a Canadian professional baseball first baseman and outfielder who currently plays for the Cleveland Guardians of Major League Baseball. Naylor was born on June 22, 1997, in Ontario.
Earlier in his career, he was a player with the San Diego Padres. In the Major League Baseball first-year player draft in 2015, the Padres selected Naylor for the 12th overall spot. Naylor made his debut in the MLB in 2019.
During the 2020 campaign, he was sent to Cleveland in a trade. In addition to playing baseball with the Ontario Blue Jays of the Premier Baseball League of Ontario, Naylor attended St. Joan of Arc Catholic Secondary School,
