Camilo Doval Parents: Meet Camilo Doval Mother, Rosa And His Father Sergio

Camilo Doval is a professional baseball player of Dominican Republic descent who plays as a pitcher for the San Francisco Giants baseball team. Camilo has a height of 1.88 m with a weight of 82 kg.



Camilo started his professional baseball career in 2015 when the San Francisco Giants signed him as an international free agent. He agreed to play for the Giants and received a signing bonus of $100,000 where he started playing as a shortstop for the team.

He was assigned to play in minor leagues and spent the 2016 season playing for the Rookie-level DSL Giants in the Dominican Summer League and in 2017 he was made to play for the Rookie-level AZL Giants.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, the minor league baseball season was cancelled thus Camilo did not play in any games that season. At the end of the season, he was added to the Giant’s 40-man roster.

Camilo spent his 2021 baseball season playing for both the Triple-A West Sacramento River Cats and the major league Giants. He was promoted to the major leagues in April 2021 and he made his MLB debut two days after he was promoted.

Camilo Doval was born to Rosa and Sergio Doval. His parents are both from the Dominican Republic, although separated, they are very supportive of Camilo’s career.

His father, Sergio happens to be a farmer while his mother, Rosa works as an elementary school teacher.
