Jordan McKinley Hicks is known to be a professional baseball pitcher with the St. Louis Cardinals baseball team of Major League Baseball. Jordan was born and raised in Texas. He had his high school career at Klein Oak High School and Cypress Creek High School.
When he completed high school, he was drafted by the St Louis Cardinals which made him forgo his decision to play college baseball with Tulane University. He signed with the Cardinals and was given $600,000 as a signing bonus.
Jordan made his professional debut in 2016 after he was assigned to play with the Johnson City Cardinals of the Rookie Appalachian League. He was promoted that same season to the State College Spikes of the Class A Short Season New York–Penn League. He was promoted to play with the Palm Beach Cardinals of the Class A-Advanced Florida State League in July 2017.
The Cardinals also assigned him to play with the Surprise Saguaros of the Arizona Fall League (AFL) that year. He was promoted to the majors in 2018 and he made his MLB debut for the Cardinals on March 29, 2018, when they played against the New York Mets. In March 2022, he signed a one-year contract worth $937,500 with the Cardinals.
