Emmanuel Clase is a Dominican professional baseball pitcher for the Cleveland Guardians of Major League Baseball (MLB). He made his MLB debut in 2019 with the Texas Rangers.

As an international free agent, Clase agreed to a $125,000 signing bonus with the San Diego Padres. In 54 innings with the DSL Padres in 2015, he was 2–1 with a 1.99 ERA. As of this writing, his record stands at 2–0 and 4.01 with 24+2/3 innings pitched in the Arizona League Padres.

As a member of the AZL Padres and Tri-City Dust Devils of the Class A Short Season Northwest League last year, he compiled a 2–4 record with a 5.30 ERA in 35+2/3 innings.

The San Diego Padres transferred Brett Nicholas to the Texas Rangers in exchange for Clase as the player to be named later.

While playing in the Class A Short Season Northwest League, Clase was assigned to the Spokane Indians where he concluded the 2018 season 1-1 with a 0.64 ERA, 27 strikeouts, and 12 saves in 28 13 innings of work.

For the start of the 2019 season, Clase was assigned to the Class A-Advanced Carolina League’s Down East Wood Ducks.
