Guillermo Heredia, full name Guillermo Heredia Molina Jr. happens to be a Cuban baseball player currently with the Atlanta Braves baseball team. He plays as an outfielder for the team. He bats right-handed and throws left-handed and is 1.78 m tall.



Guillermo was born and raised in Matanzas in Cuba on January 31, 1991. He played for the Cuba national baseball team during the 2013 World Baseball Classic and he also played for Matanzas in the Cuban National Series. In February 2016, the Seattle Mariners signed a one-year major league contract with him and he was given $500,000 as a signing bonus.

He made his MLB debut in July that same year with the Mariners. During the 2017 baseball season, he was made to play in the Arizona Fall League to work on making his swing more compact. He was traded in 2018 to the Tampa Bay Rays. He played for the Rays for two years after which he signed a one-year deal with the Pittsburgh Pirates.



He was claimed off waivers by the Atlanta Braves in February 2021 and in November 2021, the Braves signed a one-year contract worth $1 million with him.
