Patrick Alan Mazeika plays baseball as a profession for the New York Mets baseball team of the Major League Baseball(MLB). He plays as a catcher for the team and is 1.9m tall.



Patrick was born on October 14, 1993, in Springfield, Massachusetts in the United States of America. He was born to parents Patti Mazeika and Joe Mazeika. He attended Stetson University where he played college baseball for the baseball team.

He also played collegiate summer baseball for the Cotuit Kettleers of the Cape Cod Baseball League (CCBL) in 2013 and 2014, he played for the Chatham Anglers. During the 2015 MLB draft, Patrick was drafted by the New York Mets in the 8th round of the draft.

He made his professional debut that year as he was assigned to play with the Kingsport Mets. He spent 2016 with the Columbia Fireflies and in 2017, he played for the St. Lucie Mets at the beginning of the season and later played for the Binghamton Rumble Ponies. Patrick played for the Binghamton Rumble Ponies throughout the 2018 season.

The New York Mets called him up to the majors for the first time in August 2020 but he was unable to make his MLB debut that day so he was called up for a second time but he still could not make his MLB debut.

Finally, on May 5, 2021, part was recalled to the majors and he made his MLB debut that day for the Mets.
