Harrison Joseph Bader is a Major League Baseball center fielder for the St. Louis Cardinals in the United States.



He was a member of the Florida Gators baseball team while at the University of Florida. In 2017, Bader made his Major League Baseball debut.

Bader was a member of the baseball team at the Horace Mann School in the Riverdale district of the Bronx, New York City.



Bader was a member of the New York Grays, a club baseball team, while in high school.

Bader committed to play baseball for the University of Pittsburgh Panthers in October 2011.

He had not signed a National Letter of Intent, so he decommitted from Pittsburgh in May 2012 and committed to play for the Terrapins at the University of Maryland.

Maryland, on the other hand, did not offer him a scholarship. He committed from Maryland in July and committed to play for the University of Florida, where he was awarded a partial scholarship.

Bader had a .312 batting average as a freshman and a .337 average as a sophomore, leading the Gators.

Bader was suspended for 19 games during his sophomore season after a scooter accident while driving under the influence of alcohol.

He played collegiate summer baseball with the Bourne Braves of the Cape Cod Baseball League after the 2014 season.

In 67 games as a junior, he batted .297 with 17 home runs and 66 RBIs. After hitting .348 in five games at the 2015 College World Series, he was chosen to the All-Tournament Team.
