Marte pitched for the rookie-level Burlington Royals in 2014, earning a 4-3 record and 3.44 ERA in 11 appearances. Marte pitched for the Single-A Lexington Legends in 2015, going 4-5 with a 6.44 ERA and 60 strikeouts in 18 games.

Marte was 6-8 with one save and a 4.21 ERA in 26 games (7 starts) for Single-A Lexington in 2016, pitching 107 innings, throwing 19 wild pitches (2nd in the South Atlantic League), leading the league with 3 balks, and striking out 103 hitters. With a.225 batting average against, he was sixth among South Atlantic League relievers.

Marte divided the 2019 season between Northwest Arkansas and the Omaha Storm Chasers of Triple-A. He had a 4.19 ERA in 14 appearances for the two teams, with 15 strikeouts in 19.1 innings of work. He chose minor league free agency on November 2, 2020.
