Rylan Bannon is an American professional baseball third baseman for the Baltimore Orioles of Major League Baseball (MLB).
Rylan Thomas Bannon was born on April 22, 1996, in Joliet, Illinois, in the United States. There is little information available about his parents, family background, or early life. Rylan Bannon attended Joliet Catholic Academy before transferring to Xavier University to play college baseball.
Rylan Bannon was selected Big East Conference Baseball Player of the Year in 2017. In the eighth round of the 2017 Major League Baseball draft, he was chosen by the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Rylan Bannon made his professional debut after signing with the Ogden Raptors.
On July 18, 2018, he was dealt with the Baltimore Orioles along with four other players in exchange for Manny Machado.
Following the 2019 season, Rylan Bannon was picked to play for the Surprise Saguaros in the Arizona Fall League. Rylan Bannon was added to the 40-man roster on November 20, 2020.
