Taijuan Emmanuel Walker is a Major League Baseball pitcher who currently plays for the New York Mets (MLB). He was previously with the Seattle Mariners, Arizona Diamondbacks, and Toronto Blue Jays.
Walker was born in Shreveport, Louisiana, and his first interest was basketball until the age of 11 when he began playing baseball. Walker went to Yucaipa High School in Yucaipa, California, where he was a pitcher, shortstop, and two-sport athlete.
Walker was teammates with Matt Davidson, a third baseman in the Los Angeles Dodgers system, in Yucaipa. Former big leaguers Corky Miller and Mark Teahen both attended Yucaipa.
Walker was picked by the Seattle Mariners in the first round, 43rd overall, in the 2010 MLB draft. Walker was ranked among the Mariners’ top ten prospects for the 2011 season.
Who Is Taijuan Walker’s Wife, Heather Restrepo?
Heather Restrepo has played basketball in the past. In 2010 and 2011, she was a member of the Washington State high school team. Two children were born as a result of her marriage to Taijuan.
A year after the birth of their first child in July 2017, they are expecting the birth of their second child. The adorable duo is setting a new standard for on-screen romance. She attended a high school in Washington state and had stated that she wanted to study business and psychology in college.
It’s not clear if she followed through with her high school ambitions. Currently, Restrepo is a pro-breastfeeding activist. She stands at a height of 5 feet, 9 inches. There is a good chance Heather Restrepo is between the ages of 25 and 30. However, we don’t know her actual age or date of birth at this time.
