A.J. Green Parents: Meet Woodrow Green and Dora Green

Adriel Jeremiah Green, also known by his stage name A. J. Green, is a well-known wide receiver for the Arizona Cardinals of the National Football League. His height is 1.93 meters, and his weight is 94 kg. He went to Summerville High School, which is in South Carolina’s Summerville. He participated in three sports at Summerville: football, basketball, and track.

He played college football for the University of Georgia’s Georgia Bulldogs from 2008 to 2010 after graduating from high school. He has 166 receptions for 2,619 yards and 23 touchdowns towards the end of his college career. He formally stated his intent to enter the 2011 NFL Draft in January 2011.

The Cincinnati Bengals picked Green with the fourth overall choice in the first round of the 2011 NFL Draft. In Week 2 against the Baltimore Ravens in September 2018, he scored three touchdowns for the first time in a game in his professional career. All three came in the first half, and the team won 34–23 as a result.

In March 2021, he agreed to a one-year contract worth $8.5 million with the Arizona Cardinals, $6 million of which was guaranteed. He reached 10,000 receiving yards in his career in Week 14’s game against the Los Angeles Rams. He had 54 receptions for 848 yards and three touchdowns by season’s end. He re-signed with the Cardinals in April 2022, this time on a one-year deal.
