Patrick Wisdom who was born on August 27, 1991, is a professional baseball third baseman who was born to parents Collen and Pat Wisdom. He is a first baseman for the Chicago Cubs of Major League Baseball. According to his history, he was previously drafted by the St Louis Cardinals of Major League Baseball in the year 2012 and made his MLB debut in the year 2018.

Wisdom graduated from Murrieta Valley High School in 2009, before beginning his professional career. In his senior year of high school, he had a. 345 batting average. When he was in college, he played baseball for Saint Mary’s College of California. In 2011, he was named to the All-West Coast Conference First Team, as well as the All-WCC Freshman Team in 2010.

He began his professional career with the St. Louis Cardinals of Major League Baseball in 2012 when he was selected 52nd overall in the draft. He was promoted to the major leagues by the Saint Louis Cardinals on August 11, 2018, and made his first appearance the next day against the Kansas City Royals.

On December 11, 2018, he joined the Texas Rangers and then joined the Seattle Mariners on November 27, 2019. He is currently with the Chicago Cubs where he signed with them on August 23, 2020. He became part of their 40-man and active rosters and made his debut as a pinch hitter for one Anthony Rizzo.
