American football tight end Durham Smythe is a professional that competes for the National Football League’s Miami Dolphins. He stands 1.98 meters tall and weighs 112 kilograms. He attended Belton High School, where he also participated in football. He played football for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish team at the University of Notre Dame, where he went after finishing high school.

In four years, he finished his studies at Notre Dame with a total of 28 receptions for 381 receiving yards and six receiving touchdowns. In the fourth round of the 2018 NFL Draft, the Miami Dolphins selected Smythe. In Week 1 of the 2018 season, he played against the Tennessee Titans for the first time in the NFL. In Week 12’s game against the Indianapolis Colts, he caught his first two passes in the NFL.

He re-signed with the Dolphins on a two-year deal in March 2022.
