Jacob Dalton Walsh, professionally known as Jake Walsh happens to be one of the minor league players with the St Louis Cardinals baseball team. Jake plays as a pitcher for the team and has a height and weight of 1.85 m and 87 kg respectively.
Jake was born on July 20, 1995, in the USA. He played amateur baseball at Melbourne High School. He further enrolled at the Jacksonville State University, Eastern Florida State College and also at the Florida Southern College where he pitched for their baseball teams.
In 2017, Jack was drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals in the 23rd round of the 2017 MLB draft. He signed with the Cardinals and made his professional debut that season playing with the Johnson City Cardinals of the Rookie-level Appalachian League. He was assigned to be the Peoria Chiefs of the Class A Midwest League and the Palm Beach Cardinals of the Class A-Advanced Florida State League during the 2018 season.
Jake got injured in 2019 which caused him to play in only two minor league games. There were no games in 2020 as the minor league season was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Cardinals made him play in the Arizona Fall League for the Glendale Desert Dogs after the 2021 season.
The Cardinals added him to their 40-man roster after they selected his contract in November 2021. He started the 2022 minor league season with Memphis.
