Mike Yastrzemski, real name Michael Andrew Yastrzemski was born August 23, 1990, in Andover, Massachusetts in the United States. His parents are Carl Michael Yastrzemski Jr and Anne Marie Yastrzemski.

Mike plays professional baseball in Major League Baseball for the San Francisco Giants baseball team. He wears the number 5 jersey when on the field and positions as a right fielder for the team.

He played baseball at St. John’s Preparatory School in Danvers, Massachusetts. During his senior year in school, he was made the captain of the team. After school, he earned a scholarship to play college baseball for the Vanderbilt Commodores at Vanderbilt University.

During his junior year in college, the Seattle Mariners team selected him in the 30th round of the 2012 MLB draft. The draft came with a $300,000 signing bonus but still, he refused to sign with them and decided to continue playing college baseball at the University in his senior year.

When he finally graduated from college, he signed with the Baltimore Orioles after they selected him in the 14th round of the 2013 MLB draft. The Orioles traded him to the San Francisco Giants baseball team in March 2019. He made his MLB debut in May that year playing for the Giants.
