Walker Buehler Parents: Meet Tony Buehler And Karen Walker

Walker Anthony Buehler plays professional baseball in America for the Los Angeles Dodgers team of Major League Baseball(MLB). He plays as a pitcher and is 1.88m tall. He grew up in Lexington, Kentucky in the United States of America.



Walker played baseball for his high school baseball team at the Henry Clay High School located in Lexington. After high school, he opted to attend Vanderbilt University although the Pittsburgh Pirates drafted him in the 14th round of the 2012 MLB draft.

Walker played college baseball throughout his time at the University. He was selected by the Los Angeles Dodgers team after college in the 24th overall selection of the 2015 MLB is draft. He signed with them for a $1.78 million signing bonus.



He was assigned to play in the minor leagues and he made his professional baseball debut in August 2016 playing for the Arizona League Dodgers. He was promoted to a higher league that same year. He played for the Great Lakes Loons of the Midwest League.

The Dodgers promoted him to the major leagues in September 2017 and he made his MLB debut that night.
