Mike Soroka, his real name Michael John Graydon Soroka is one of the professional baseball pitchers with the Atlanta Braves baseball team. Mike is of Canadian descent and has a height of 1.96m with a weight of 100kg.



Mike was born to parents Gary Soroka and Sally Soroka on August 4, 1997, in Calgary, Canada. His mother died of melanoma when he was 12 in 2010. He began his non-professional baseball career at Bishop Carroll High School in Calgary. Whiles in high school, he played for the junior national team.

Before the 2015 MLB draft began, Baseball America ranked him as the number 88th best prospect in the year. He was then drafted by the Atlanta Braves that year and was made to play for the GCL Braves to let him make his professional debut.

Mike spent the 2016 minor league season playing for the Rome Braves. In 2017, he spent the season with the Mississippi Braves and also made an appearance in the All-Star Futures Games. His 2018 season was spent with the Gwinnett Stripers of the Class AAA International League.

In May 2018, Mike made his MLB debut after the Braves promoted him to the major leagues. The Braves and Mike agreed and signed a contract worth $2.8 million for the 2022 season.
