Lee extended his contract with the Cardinals by two years, taking it through the 2020 season. The extension was signed on June 14, 2018. During the 2018 season, Lee led the league in punting with 94 attempts, totaling 4,568 net yards and averaging 48.60 yards per attempt.

Lee completed a 25-yard pass to Pharoh Cooper on a fake punt in Week 10 of the 2019 season.

During the 15th game of the season, which took place on December 20, 2020, against the Philadelphia Eagles, Lee completed a pass of 26 yards to linebacker Ezekiel Turner while attempting to fake a punt.
