After being placed on the 10-day injured list for a left-hand injury on Saturday, J.D. Davis stated on Sunday that he is “very sure” that his time on the shelf would be brief.

“With the edema, it’s day to day,” Davis remarked. It is developing in the right direction every day. I’m happy with how it’s going, but I can’t predict how it’ll be in three or four days.”

After getting drilled by Philadelphia Phillies starting pitcher Chase Anderson on Tuesday, the 27-year-old was diagnosed with the injury and was placed on the disabled list almost immediately.

Davis stated, “It was a conversation from Day 1 or the night I was hit.” “I never want to go on the IL or anything like that.” As a result, we continue to make progress and receive treatment on a daily basis.

“I came in, did some grounders, got a lift in, did some conditioning, did some hand isolation… the ache was still there… a snag there It’ll just take a little while for the swelling to subside.”

When Davis is fielding, his hand feels good, but the batter’s box is where he experiences the most pain.

Meet Mary Jo Davis And Greg Davis

Mary Jo Davis And Greg Davis are the parents of J.D. and Ben Davis. When he was a child, his parents divorced. His mother, who reared five boys, encouraged them to participate in sports.
Greg promised himself that he would never be like his father, that he would not just be present, but also participate. He likes to advise, “Don’t simply put them in sports, coach the squad.” So it’s understandable that reflecting about his boys’ connection a day before Father’s Day brought him delight.
